Jaime started her fascination for makeup when her grandmother powdered her nose and put on her lipstick before leaving the house and Jaime would climb onto her lap to get some pipip, their name for powder. She also poured over magazines and bought her first makeup kit, for a dollar! She began practicing on herself, whenever she could and even wore makeup to elementary school (not to the liking of her teachers, who made her take it off). Around the age of 12 Jaime was picked up by a model talent agency, well this was her dream to be apart of the glamorous world of modeling and acting. In addition, to this day still models and acts, but mua is her main job and passion. On more then a few occasion, she did her own makeup instead of using the mua on the shoot, to the mua’s surprise she did a remarkable job and said jokingly “next you’ll be taking over my job!” Bing, a light went of “I could make a living doing something I love to do”
After taking numerous mua lessons, some of the photographers she modeled and acted for gave her the chance she needed to start her career and never looked back.
Her level of expertise has landed her many jobs in movies, editorial work, model/acting headshots, special occasion’s and even F/X special effects. She also is a licensed Aesthetician with a medical background and teaches both skin care and makeup artistry, to esthetic students, keynote speaking and private lessons. She also styles hair and wardrobe so she is a triple threat and it is no wonder why she has been “Woman to Watch” Today’s Lancaster Woman and just recently been nominated for the prestiges Cambridge Award for outstanding woman in business. And, also in the process of making her own line of cosmetics.
